Servings: 6
- 3-4 Peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 4 oz Tomato Paste
- 5-6 tbsp Sriracha Sauce Use more for a spicier sauce, or less for a milder sauce
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Wash, peel and chop your peaches.
Meanwhile, heat olive olive oil over medium high heat in a medium sauce pan. Add the peaches and cook for one to two minutes.
Add in the spices: Cumin, Chili Powder, Garlic Powder and Onion Powder.
Stir in the ketchup, tomate paste, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and Sriracha. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
Turn the heat down to low and let the sauce simmer for ten more minutes and thicken. *
Use the sauce on BBQ pulled pork sandwiches or chicken sandwiches. Enjoy!
- This sauce is a little chunky with a thicker consistency from the peaches and tomato paste, but I prefer it that way. If you would like a thinner sauce: transfer the sauce to a blender or food processor and blend together.
