Keyword: Sriracha Peach BBQ Sauce
Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 oz Tomato Paste
  • 5-6 tbsp Sriracha Sauce Use more for a spicier sauce, or less for a milder sauce
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and chop your peaches.
  • Meanwhile, heat olive olive oil over medium high heat in a medium sauce pan. Add the peaches and cook for one to two minutes.
  • Add in the spices: Cumin, Chili Powder, Garlic Powder and Onion Powder.
  • Stir in the ketchup, tomate paste, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and Sriracha. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.
  • Turn the heat down to low and let the sauce simmer for ten more minutes and thicken. *
  • Use the sauce on BBQ pulled pork sandwiches or chicken sandwiches. Enjoy!

Notes

  • This sauce is a little chunky with a thicker consistency from the peaches and tomato paste, but I prefer it that way.  If you would like a thinner sauce: transfer the sauce to a blender or food processor and blend together.
