Dollar Store Wreath Supplies:
Buy all your crafting supplies right here from the Dollar Tree!
- Grapevine Wreath
- Floral Wire
- Floral Cutters
- Flowers (I used 5 bouquets of flowers from the dollar store)
- Fern Leaf Stems (I used 3 fern stems from the dollar store)
How to Make a Pink Floral Spring Wreath out of Dollar Store Materials:
First, gather all of your craft supplies from the dollar store to create your wreath. At this point you can remove any price tags from the floral stems and cut the flower stems with your floral cutters if you’d like.
DECOR TIP:
I like to wait and take the price tags and cut the stems off the flower bouquets as I create the wreath though! Usually, I tend to buy too many supplies and end up taking any unused materials back to the store. When I’m in that creative mode, I don’t want to have to stop mid project and get more supplies. So you do what works for you! 🤣
The fern leaf stems will start as the base of the wreath. Take two of the fern leaf stems and connect the ends of each stem together. Tightly wrap the floral wire around the middle of the fern leaf stems to secure them to the wreath. Don’t worry about any floral wire showing because you will cover it with your flowers shortly. So you will have fluffy fern leaves on either side of the base of the wreath and floral wire in the center of the stems. Look at picture number two in the step-by-step collage below for a visual.
Next, begin cutting the flower stems from each bouquet. I just cut one bouquet at a time, add those flower stems and keep repeating until I like the amount of flowers added. Tuck each flower stem into the grapevine wreath to keep it secure. Keep adding flowers around the greenery from the fern stems until you like the fullness and dimension of the wreath.
At the end, I had one extra stem of fern leaves and I decided to cut those off and add a little more greenery to the wreath, securing with extra floral wire.
DECOR TIP:
Since you are only using floral wire around the wreath, you can easily switch out the flowers for each season! You could also save the flower stems to incorporate later for another project or in your decor!
I really like the dimension with the flowers on one side of the wreath because it adds a lot of interest to that space. The different pink flowers bring warmth and the fern stems add texture and movement to the wreath. This wreath would be really cute on a front door for the spring and summer months or even displayed inside of the home for decor! This dollar store spring wreath has that farmhouse boho spring wreath vibe going on and is just darling!
