This beautiful lemon and eucalyptus centerpiece is easy to make and is perfect for summer!
I used my vintage dough bowl, eucalyptus leaves and baby eucalyptus sprig picks that I got at Hobby Lobby. I bought the baby’s breath flowers at the dollar store. I already had the big lemons and the baby lemons were also from Hobby Lobby and they were $2.00 for the bag!
First, I arranged the eucalyptus leaves in the dough bowl. I placed two to three of the eucalyptus leaves on one side and then the remaining leaves on the opposite side of the dough bowl. I tucked the stems under the leaves. I don’t know if that makes any sense?!
Basically, I wanted the eucalyptus leaves to peak out and come over on both sides of the dough bowl. I didn’t want the stems to show, so I just tucked the leaves over the stems. Then I arranged the large lemons around the bowl. No technique there, just fill them up and then add the smaller lemons (optional).
You could stop there, but I had picked up two sprigs of baby’s breath from the dollar store. I popped the baby’s breath flowers off the stems and arranged them around the dough bowl for a filler. I love the pop of white against the greenery and the bright yellow! Then I had the baby eucalyptus sprig picks at my house. I decided to pop a few of the greenery leaves off to add an extra filler. Again, no technique, I just nestled the baby eucalyptus sprigs around where I saw a bare space in the dough bowl. This added an extra texture and dimension of the dough bowl with eucalyptus sprigs. Almost like it’s coming out of the bowl… I don’t know, maybe that’s just me! That’s it! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! (See what I did there! ;))
Lemon and Eucalyptus Centerpiece Materials:

- Lemons
- 4-6 Large Eucalyptus Leaves
- 2 Baby Eucalyptus Sprig Picks

Lemon and Eucalyptus Centerpiece Directions:
- Arrange the large eucalyptus leaves in a dough bowl. You want the eucalyptus leaves to on spill over the side of the dough bowl. Be sure to tuck stems under other eucalyptus leaves.
- Place the lemons on top of the eucalyptus leaves. You can arrange them around with the eucalyptus leaves.
- Pop the sprigs of baby’s breath off the stem and arrange around the dough bowl. Nestle some of the baby’s breath in with the eucalyptus leaves.
- Pop the sprigs of baby eucalyptus leaf picks off the stems and arrange around the dough bowl to fill any empty space. The baby eucalyptus can be turned different ways to add dimension and texture into the dough bowl.
I love to decorate with lemons during the late summer months. I love the greenery mixed in with the lemon yellow and pops of white make for a cute summer centerpiece!
