This Thanksgiving, I’m bringing you a thrifty décor feast with two different tablescapes!
I know you’re busy planning and preparing for Thanksgiving; but don’t forget to set the mood with a festive tablescape.
First up is a neutral fall tablescape that was simple and inexpensive to create for Thanksgiving. I used things I already had at my house. The only thing I bought for this neutral fall tablescape was the faux pumpkins; and you can find the tutorial for neutral painted pumpkins here. I really wanted this tablescape to have a casual and homey feel.
I gathered up my thrifted china set, galvanized chargers, pumpkins and the tobacco basket to begin creating my tablescape. I love the colors of the season, but when I created these neutral pumpkins I knew they’d pair perfectly with my thrifted vintage china set.
First I used my aqua tablecloth that I already had, and I decided the soft color would tie in with my neutral tablescape. I placed the tobacco basket (I found at Hobby Lobby) in the middle of the table and arranged my pumpkins into the basket. I wish I had some lamb’s ear or some other type of greenery or maybe a floral to have added to my tablescape. Listen, I’m on a budget and used what I had around! If you have some type of greenery garland or florals you can drape them around the pumpkin centerpiece for extra texture.
My sister gave me these adorable galvanized chargers (she found them at Marshalls!) and I love the adorable scallops on them!
Next, I layered my vintage china plates on top of the galvanized chargers and added a miniature white pumpkin on top for each place setting.
And there it is! A gorgeous neutral fall tablescape fit for a big Thanksgiving feast!
To me, the decorations and the special touches are what makes the holidays memorable. An inviting, festive table sets the tone for your Thanksgiving feast!
