You can make an inviting, harvest themed front porch that’s decorated for the season on a budget.
The trick to decorating on a budget is to think outside of the box with items you already own.
Think about the season and use mother nature for your palette. Mums and pumpkins will brighten up any fall porch! Don’t go out and buy items without shopping around your house first! Find the items you bought the previous season, and don’t be afraid to add some interesting elements like baskets or trays for height and added textures. Using what you already have, helps you to stay on budget.
If you have baskets, large jars or trays laying around consider popping in a mum or a pumpkin into the container. Boom! Cute fall décor!
The fall door mat, mums, hay and pumpkins were bought this season, but everything else were items I already had at the house.
The wagon is from Hobby Lobby and was used as part of our wedding décor. The cute chair was bought at The World’s Longest Yard Sale for $2.00. The little pumpkin yard stake, basket and pumpkin face were thrifted. I already had the ferns, and since they still looked pretty good, I decided to use them for my fall porch.
Thrift stores and yard sales are great places to buy holiday decorations for a steal!
After the holidays are over, it is usually prime time to find thrifted seasonal decorations. However, I have picked up some decorations for Christmas over the past few weeks at my favorite thrift stores, and can’t wait to show you those finds soon!
After my mums bloomed, I had to go back and take a few more pictures of the porch because they are so pretty! Plus, we all know that mums don’t last long after they bloom! There you have it! A rustic, harvest front porch decorated on a budget. Boom! Happy fall, y’all!
