I picked up a gold vintage china set a few weeks ago…it was $10 bucks! I repeat ten bucks! It wasn’t the full set, but I knew I had to have it. Did I have a place for it or a plan? Nope! My plan is always “buy now, figure it out later.” Surely I’m not the only one with this kind of plan? Right?
That same weekend, I also picked up some succulents, and I was looking for cute flower pots to plant them in. I decided it would look super cute if I planted the succulents in one of my vintage teacups. I love when an idea comes full circle… and the best part is that I didn’t have to spend any money! I love shopping around my house first when I start a project. I love how my idea turned out! I used things I already had and created a unique planter. You can plant any kind of small flower with this idea.
Supplies I used:
- Succulent Flowers
- Vintage China Teacups
- Potting Soil Simple
Directions: Simply plant the flower in the teacup and cover the roots with soil.
That’s it! It took five minutes, and it totally gives my succulents an adorable look! I really love the pop of the green mixed with the metallic gold.
